The Artesia Community Support Center facility is a community resource offered by the City of Artesia whose mission is to help residents improve their skills, access job training and workforce development, learn about starting a business, get information about City services, and more. The Center is also a resource for current and prospective business owners to learn how they can start or expand their business in Artesia, and how the City can help them get off on the right foot and have success in Artesia. The City of Artesia is committed to maintaining and expanding a thriving business community and helping residents access resources to meet their full potential.
Press Release: Delta Variant and Unmasked Intermingling Cause COVID-19 Cases to Increase Four-Fold
Effective tonight, Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 11:59 PM, masks will be required in all indoor public places, venues, gatherings, and businesses (including offices, retail, restaurants, theaters, family entertainment centers, meetings, and state and local government offices serving the public). Some exceptions will apply, similar to the exceptions in masking requirements that were in place prior to the June 15 reopening. This includes exceptions for children under the age of two, for those with certain medical conditions or disabilities that prevent masking, and for those whose job doesn’t permit masking. Details are available in the revised Health Officer Order.
